Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Khalid al-Jandi, a member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of Egypt, emphasized that visiting graves is a legitimate and praiseworthy act, as it reminds one of the Hereafter and includes greeting the inhabitants of the graves and praying for their forgiveness.
He added that he himself loves to visit the Ahl al-Bayt shrines, and the graves, and considers it a means of drawing closer to Allah the Highest.
Khalid al-Jandi made these statements on the television program "Lailhum Yafqahoon" aired on the DMC network, and clarified that visiting graves and holy sites is completely legitimate and desirable according to Islamic law.
